Look how he's grown!

From tiny baseball player...To big time banker...
Onto being a smoldering teenager...
And now a 28 year old that still gets super excited about a new Nerf Gun modifying kit.
Happy Birthday Chad!
We love you!

January Happenings

January has been a fun month. Addi is learning new things everyday and she just keeps getting cuter! Of course, she still enjoys going on walks. As a side note, before Addi was born I thought I wouldn't buy alot of pink for her but apparently pink is just a color that is unavoidable as exemplified in this picture. She loves computer stuff as much as her dad. Here she is with the new and improved wireless router.
Addi finally got a new carseat! Don't be fooled by this picture, she's actually crying.
One of Addi's favorite things to do now is get into the cupboards. One evening I was making dinner and looked over to see that Addi had stacked 4 cans of soup and was attempting to put a 5th one on top! She's super smart but also very dangerous. Luckily none of them landed on her feet!
I don't know why but I think this picture is so funny. She looks like a little ewok to me.
Magic Trick
Addi loves playing with all kind of things she's not supposed to. This is what she learned how to do the other day with my fabric measuring tape. Keep in mind, she did this all on her own without any teaching from Chad or me.
1st Haircut
Our daughter no longer has a mullet! Poor Addi's hair has only been growing on the back of her head in the center. I have known that it needed to be cut but I just couldn't bring myself to cut off the only hair that she had. In a moment of weakness, I succumbed and trimmed it.
Here's the before...
And after...
Its really not a very good haircut but it made it a little better.

Sledding
Addi got a sled for Christmas and I've been waiting and waiting to take her out to use it but we haven't had any snow. Last Saturday we finally took her up the canyon to a park with a little hill. (I'm not gonna lie, watching the end of this video still makes my stomach flip because of how close the sled came to toppling and also running over me).
She enjoyed the first few runs but then we had an accident...
Her sled tipped on some ice and she fell out onto her face. We actually had her buckled in until that run. I'm not sure if it would have been better or worse if she had still been buckled. She was such a trooper and handled it alot better than I thought. Of course there was tears but some hugs from Mom and Dad helped. Luckily, I don't think she'll be traumatized by it for the rest of her life. This picture is so sad. I have never seen her frown like that before and she wasn't doing it before I took the picture so when it showed up like this on the view finder, I felt even worse for my little girl.
This is the look of "How could you do such a thing to me?"
Her scratches are actually looking alot better after only a few days so hopefully there won't be any lasting marks on her precious face.
Well I think we're about all caught up so hopefully we'll do better at posting regularly so the next entries won't be so long.
