A realization...

I am no longer 7 years old.

I discovered this last night at Chad's grandpa's house while taking a break after mowing part of the lawn. Grandpa has a swing set that has one of those swinging bars, you know the ones that remind you of bird swings in cages, and I decided that I was going to try and get up on it. When I was younger, playing on the bars was one of my favorite things to do on the playground... and I was really good at doing tricks on them. I could flip and twirl with the best of them.

Anyway, so I'm sure it would have been absolutely hillarious to have a video or at least several pictures of my attempts to get on the swing. IT WAS SO HARD! Eventually I did manage to get up on the bar but then I discovered that those things are not very comfortable to sit on so my victory was short lived and I got off after about a minute.
Realization #2
I don't know where to buy clothes anymore.
Last week I went to JcPenny's to try and find some cute clothes. First I went to the Juniors department. I looked around for a while and although there were a few things that I could pull off wearing, I didn't want to feel like I was trying to look like a 14 year old.
Then I headed over to the Misses department. I found an argyle sweater that I could have bought but the majority of the clothes in that section all seemed too old.
I am stuck in clothing limbo.
Oh the joy of being 23. :)

Its been a month

Wow, its been a long time since I've blogged. I don't think I can remember everything that happened. Mom and Dad and the kids came out for vacation and we got to go up to Island Park for the weekend which was alot of fun. The cabin is seriously one of my most favorite places to go. So many good memories. Of course we had to do a bike ride on the awesome cabin bikes. That's right, we like to call this picture "The ride of the Banana Seat Gang". We also rafted down the Snake with Janalee and Derek and intertubed down the Buffalo with everybody.
Chad has gone on 2 business trips in the last month. They were 4 days and 3 days but it seemed like alot longer than that. I decided that I could never be an army wife, I don't think I'd be able to survive.
Its about time for Chad to start taking a few classes again. I'd almost forgotten that our summer life wasn't going to be our typical life... So long to the days where we take a trip every 3 weeks, Hello to nights of homework and hobby finding. :)
